CNY Reunion Dinners!

Happy Chinese New Year everyone!! Haven't update my blog lately hehe, was busy with house moving stuff! yea...i'd moved into a better room condition and i enjoy my time here in my new nest :)
Anyway i have quite a few cny photo to share.hehe

Let's post about my reunion dinners with my colleagues and ex colleagues :)

SP Department dinner :) and yea..there are more small di di and mei mei inside our department with 87,88,89 year ..oh no....We are consider old dy -_-

Next up , i received a cordial invitation to attend my ex company , Umobile reunion dinner!

Such a looong time didn't see him , he is still that technical and -_-"' , he started to use this word on me in a joking way, 来给叔叔抱抱, Beh tahan him...haha .

And..Of course, before leaving the dinner, he advised me, reminded me to find a boyfriend coz im not young anymore.....LOL , so concern about my happiness...haha

He praised me alot in term of my approach, my appearance as a feminine lady nowadays...muahahha.

Still the same old word to him, he always have a good taste to hire me since last time :p

During the dinner, he kept on remind and said that i was 24 years old when i first employed at there , now dy 4 years past..... -_- Okkkkk........i know i know :p

And of course, before leaving the dinner, he advised me, reminded me to keep it up ( feminine)! Haha...

Another boss, another advice , another remind .Well he asked me to keep on explore , to find the right one! Haha , i hope i could find one this year, so that i could get the answer for them next year..lol.

Last night Christmas eve, i was having my dinner with my friends at Tropicana Mall and i suggested to have X'mas cake!! Heheh..just an excuse to eat the choc cake as it looks seducing :p

This morning i'd my breakfast with Tan Tan, long time din see her and she was so rush for this and that. Hmm, hope to have a nice chit chat time with her but erm...... better don't disturb the loving couple..hehe.

This afternoon i was hanging out with my uni friend, William and then we had this big cup of coconut drink at Kota Damansara's road side...Haha..what a Christmas day i have...lol.

All these photos are taken with XL :) My first smart phone/new toy for me to play kiddy games while waiting for train/ Christmas present for my own / to replace my old Nokia N82 .LOL alot of reasons for buying it :p

Well I'm still adapting and learning to use 'smart phone' , and my colleagues have categorized me as a non smart phone user coz i did not turn on my data plan, is not my habit -_-

It was really a laid back trip with no rush to PD even is just for a weekend :)

Dr on my own

Sad case, i actually have skin problem since July and have been desperately looking for the remedy and facial product that would suit my sensitive skin. I've seen the famous skin specialist Dr.Ting at Jln Imbi , i've seen Chinese Dr at Kuching and taking about 1 month plus chinese medicine, but the problem is still there , i've even taken expensive bird nest! but still............the same. Guess my hormone is fluctuating , it happen frequently or when i used the wrong product then my whole face will turn into reddish and then the next day, dry skin with rashes -_-

Every time when it happened, it spoil my whole week mood as it takes several days to recover @!#!@#!.

Roughly know what is the root cause that i regretted on my working life style months ago :( sigh. Couldn't turn back the time to stop it but now what i could do is to find the right remedy and cure it patiently...and lately i got to know the illness name : eczema . I googled wikipedia and seeing the photos, i do know that mine is just small case compare to them , but still .......i hope and wish to cure it asap, better before cny :p

Reading through the article and getting introduced product by Guardian's pharmacist. I will have to keep my face clean and moisture with cetaphil's cleanser and lotion and take olivenol as supplement at the moment.

And dear friends, do let me know if u have better remedy for this :)

Few weeks ago i went to visit Zoo Negara with my colleagues Edwin, Foo and his girl friend Nicole :)
Ermm...Honestly the hang out is not bad just that, dono is im getting older or what...I wasn't so excited as many years ago when i first visit there. Dang~~ Can compare at here at 2008..hehe.

They are speeding..........If i know how to use adobe illustrator , i will want to add on circle spiraling on their leg like those in the cartoon before and during running.........haha.

The only thing i learnt during the visit is that bear can't stand still...Man..they keep on walking here and there repeatedly with no purpose @,@ that making me hard to take a proper photo of them . I have to wait patiently then only get to snap down the bear sitting down , resting i think..haha.

Good morning everyone!!

Trying to wake up early in the weekend , and i think i have made it at 9 .00 am something today (consider early to me...:p)

Im planning to jog today, i need to exercise ! which was an advice from specialist for the sack of my health :) Telling myself to be more discipline to wake up earlier in weekday and weekend in the future coz previously i just sleep tooo much, so not healthy at all..lol.

The last time i celebrated my birthday with my high school friends was in 17 years old. Wow, that was very very long time ago...hehe

After 10 years ! Im coming back to my hometown to celebrate with my old friends at Carvery Restaurant :) A restaurant which is famous in their steak buffet.

For my bday this year, i want to make it special and not merely for me but for my mum too...and i decided to go back kch to celeb:)

And i was giving her a surprise on my return on 29 September. When she saw me back...she was so thrilled and 'angrily' said why i never tell her that i am coming home ! Lol.... Seeing an old lady jumping up, i am so naughty right :p

Still ...Laksa is my most wanted food every morning at Kuching.
I was having this bowl of laksa at Sekama with my uni friend, Lei Dah :) He was buying me the breakfast, coz im da queen of the day dy...lol

Haven't been cutting my hair since cny as well..and my previous hair was long with no style, messy like broom yet i was so reluctant to cut at KL as i don't know which saloon is good. So i rather choose to come back to kch to cut by my personal fav hair dresser, Alice. I have been letting her to cut my hair since secondary school , until now even she dy no longer work at Dof saloon, and open her owns at housing area near hui sing garden . Im still so loyal to support her :) and is just RM12 !....hehe

Helping up at shop . Task that i used to do quite often at shop when i was young..lol

Of course, my main purpose to go back home this time around is...

To celeb my mum 60 birthday and also mine :) Just so you know , my mum gave birth to me during her birthday.Until now..i still feel that it is amazing to have the same birthday with her :) Because of that, i feel that my look and part of my personal character are inherited by her...hah

My mum in her 60s birthday, an old aunty who still think young and deny to be old and will whisper to me that, she got customersssss praise her young and pretty. I asked her not to be flattered till up so high, maybe they just want to get discount from her...hahahha

I felt that she is getting older and slimmer hmm... I felt that she looks like my grandma too :p....and i felt that next time when im getting older in my age of 60, i will look like my mum and then like my grandma in a cycle...lol.

This is actually the Raya holiday trip heading to Northern with my bunch of friends.

And we made our first drop at Ipoh to have the famous dim sum. Foh San business is expanding bigger than before.Dy in 2 storeys building but still that crowded!

Honestly, wonder why the dim sum like not as tasty as before...hmmm

Hong Kong style of dim sum with trolleys around. But one thing is , they are static at their place, we bring our order list to approach them and is self service .............

We have the famous Apong Guan at Burmah Road! 3 years ago, i used to visit his stall, and now he is getting older and still selling RM0.40 !!! Unbelievable. His business is still sooo sooo good, u need to be patient to queue for your turn, he can straight away refuse to do ur business if he has lots of Apongs to bake. Lots like... 100 ++!

He ll say sorry la i can't do la, i still need to bake for another 100 pieces, if u want then wait, don't want is ok (in hokkien) hahaha

Zou Bei Hu....Lol.

Oo..one thing i notice is he only used the ripe banana (secret recipe :p), those dy have many black moles on the banana skin..lol.

Only Ah Guan himself at the stall, to jot down the orders, to mix the flour, to prepare the ingredients, to bake, to pack the apong! Salute Chef Guan ..hehe

Im so keipo to record down how he bakes it! Lol

Ta dang...serving in hot ! not from oven but dono what pan is that..lol

The Apong skin is nicely baked , quite Peng Kang and inside looks spongy . Waaa....tak boleh tahan

If u ask me how does it taste, i will tell u directly that i'd taken 5 pieces that time...and still not enough..Lol

i am tempted now and how i wish i can continue eat eat and eat...

My mum is one of them :p My friends seeing me good in my life, and i seeing them good in their way too :)

I pondered and recalled my relationships , i was once showered with joy, smiled sweetly from my heart whenever i thought of what's going on between me and him, i felt my stomach filled with butterflies when i was seeing him for each hang out , i started to cherish and put effort on its just to make sure things are alright, and of course i would get upset when things are not turning good and when i'd been forgotten. And i experienced. Im telling it here boldly,haha. They were simply just words from my thoughts :)

Honestly i always overlook this kind of girly-self-help book :p , coz i used to think that, why should we learn about love and life from this kind of commercial non-fiction book. Dinner with the bride-to-be Xing Zhi at Sunway Giza.We dined at Full House and taken our dessert at Snowflakes . That was my first time hang out individually with her and it was great :)

30 Aug :
Have a date with my ji mui , Tan-Tan and her bf .She just back from States. Hearing her stories about Vegas, Canyon , San Francisco..admiringly :)
Spent my whole day with her : Lunch at my fav Ikea restaurant ; Watching "Cars" at One U ; Buffet dinner with them and also with another Uni fren , YY at Double Tree Hilton ..hehe

31 Aug- 1 Sept :
A two days trip to Northern : Breakfast at Ipoh then heading to Tree Top Walk at Sungai Sedim , later to Penang! It was a great fun out :)

2 Sept - 4 Sept :
My elder brother is here at KL, and im being a nice sister to give him a warm hospitality to bring him around and plan the best for him :)

Day 1 : Bring him to Pavilion > Lot 10 > Sungai Wang > Low Yat then night time to Mid Valley+The Garden :) Meeting his friend and have a drink at the bar which i have forgotten the name ..lol. They having Paulaner Weiss Beer and i have Peppermint Tea. Not match at all , lol.

Day 2: I brought him to Broga Hill !! Instead of Genting :p

This was my second visits to Broga ^^

My elder brother, Herbert :) He needs to do some "facelift" to restyle a bit, coz he dresses haphazardly -_- That's why im trying to bring him to shop more! :p

Night time, our uncle brought us to have buffet dinner at Shangrila hotel !! It was a luxury dinner serving with Cod Fish, Lobster , Scallop, Mackerel, Sashimi and a lot of expensive branded food.. LOL. And one thing i want to mention is that, i was soo under-dress coz other ladies at there were dressing prom night-ly -_- . I did not take any photos for that night which i should , with few reasons that : i don't have a canggih built in camera smart phone nor dressing up well. heheh.. And moreover we were having uncle VS niece and nephew , family topic talking, so i might as well need to behave :)

After the exclusive dinner..hehe. We then young ppl went to have a drink at Pavilion :p My brother and his friend were hunting for a beer called KilKenny. I tasted it, it makes me feel a bit tipsy and sleepy ...*yawn*

My brother has back to Kuching this morning, and my day has back to normal as the holiday ended. Is ok, though i did feel physically tiring throughout the week, mentally is rejuvenated :)

In short, i have a vigorous week and i felt resurrected from my 'agony' mood for the past few months

Lately , i have a colleague suffered blood cancer and has back to China, and we all concern about him and wish him to recover soon .

And today i received a touching email from him :
谢谢兄弟们的支持和心意，虽然我经历这一劫难，失去了很多东西，人生也因此转折，但非常有幸的是我还有亲情和你们最珍贵的兄弟们的友情在，谢谢你们，你的心意，朴素的祝福的每个字，和心里的挂念，给了我最坚实的力量，让我现在无论面临什么苦难都能像背靠大山一般不倒。

Day 6 at Beijing, i decided to visit more places. And i planned my first place to drop by at...

Confucius Temple

Seems like i was the youngest visitor there, lol.

From ancient till now, people worship about his wisdom, and his wisdom was garnered since he was a kid.I get to know his biography and stories through the video display at the hall. Let me recalled my sheer memory about the video clip that he was actually born in a warrior family, and his dad passed away when he was a lil kid, he then brought up by his mother in a poverty situation. Ever since, he was enthused to learn things, studied the weather from the fisherman, studied about medication from the farmer on how to cure their sick cow and attending school by peeping at outside coz he couldn't afford the school fee.

I do know he had a famous quote that one should obey their mother and love them.

Well,he also inspired me that one should never stop learning :)

Nothing special up there, just a huge bell hanging there.This bell was actually working like a clock back in the old days by knocking it during each时辰.

Checked on the panoramic view of BJ south to north central axis line, which is from QianMen > Tiananmen > Forbidden City > JingShan Park > Drum Tower then to Bell Tower. And i have walked through out the central axis line!! **Give myself an applause** haha.

There are plenty of Hutong name, but i found this one quite special at there. And i used this as the point for me to walk to Hou Hai ，后海

Da Dang~ i'd finally reached the famous hou hai. My lovely china colleague , Xiao Qiang told me that this is where how the song One Night in Beijing came from :) Coz there have lots of happening pub and bistro. A place for the young ppl to paint the town red! I do heard that, during winter time, people will come to ski at here too :) But too bad, i was alone , so i hardly enjoy those i mentioned and i was there during spring time too.

They swim at here.....No kidding ,lol.

The park is just tooo big for me to walk and since i was about to detour the whole park, so i decided to rent a bicycle ! lol...RMB10

That's the problem when traveling alone, have to take my own shadow~

Years back, i had serious acne problem and it took year for me to cure it with frequent facial wash at Herbaline , proper and healthy dinner with Chinese herbal tonic soup at SeaPark ,drinking yogurt drink everyday and sleeping early with no pressure and no fuss. These habit have slowly made me months ago, used to be and was a "pretty" lady with smile and cheerful heart.

But good things never last long , with every things happened once and for all these few months and accumulating until it blasted in just a week of time or maybe just a day...............
My face got break out and now is sensitive with rashes all over my face. From beauty to an alien back once again. sigh.................
Everything is negative to me now and one word to describe my feeling now is .... W T F

My arrangement on day 4 is to visit all the places in central of Beijing ... which require me to walk from day to night haha..self torture :p

Many locals feel that this structure is inappropriate to locate nearby Forbidden City , and there are ppl calling it as the Egg

There are also Hutong beside the Egg . Funny photo and guess the guy is looking for someone inside :p

To visit those popular tourism spot , really have to come as earlier as possible..if not will meet this kind of crowd

I was hesitate if i want to continue walk to National Flag > Monument to the People's Heroes > Mao Zedong Memorial Hall > ZhenYang Gate and then final to Qianmen. Or i could just go to Tiananmen Square then Forbidden City.

See, it is so far till i couldn't see Qianmen.

Feeling @,@ and hesitate for a while then decided to move on to Qianmen with the reason :Since i'm here :p

Wow...Isn't Forbidden City is huge and this is just the central front part. I really wonder how ancient ppl walk inside . I bought a map here just to prevent myself to get lost inside the palace..lol and how i wish i have a pair of roller skate :p

Forbidden City which is called Palace Museum now.It was the imperial palace for Ming and Qing dynasties with the history of 600 years , staying with 24 emperors before.

The map i got has stated clearly on what this building is for and what story happened at there before. Sometimes i read but sometimes i don't, then i will walk near to the tourist gang and listen to the tour guide explain :p And i will get to know that Ooo....CiXi ordered Zhen Fei ( The Emperor's favorite concubine) to be drowned inside the well, when other force came near to Beijing that Cixi prepared to flee away with the emperor. That's why there is a famous well named Zheng Fei Well hehe

You know..there must have lot's of gossip and affair inside the palace during the ancient time like those inside the TVB drama.Hmm...i can imagine the cat fights when i was there :p

Imperial Garden, located at northern point of Forbidden City , garden for those Niang Niang to play around here hehe. Very picturesque

The old tree on the right symbolized something..

The introduction board said that the branch interlocked cypressess symbolize loyal love. Puyi and Wanrong , the last emperor and empress of the Qing dynasty had their photograph taken in front of this tree after their wedding ceremony to show that ,

" we wish to fly to heaven ,

two birds in one pair of wings ,

and to grow together on earth ,

two trees with branches interlaced. "

Frankly , i didn't really take much photo at Forbidden City coz so much tourists inside , heard that is crowded everyday. So is pretty hard for me to take photo with places that have less people @,@

Lately i've been busy and today is consider came back home earlier .Phew ~

Feel that my time elapsed by quickly..Isn't this is something that i want...

Still i wish to spend some quality time with things that i keen of , such as wall climbing in this coming July ! That i'm looking forward to go with my bunch of Ma Lat friends. At least , one thing to delight myself.

798 Art District at DaShanZi is a disused electronics factory which has now turned into a corner of contemporary art and most of the masterpeices are from China's artists.

This is a place that i definitely want to visit and longing to go, coz have been reading this place at magazine and newspaper that draw my attention .And of course, is my interest as well :)

So in this post, you will only see photos, photos and photos :p

The entrance of 798 Art District . Lol, there are two funny stories about going there :p There is no metro station that reach there directly, so i have to take few interchange links to reach 三元桥the nearest station, then take 401 bus to 大山子路口南站. This 798 is located at ChaoYang District which is really far away from the place i stayed ( of coz, beijing is huge ! ). So after arrived the station, i decided to take cab instead of taking bus there, and guess what ? The taxi driver REFUSED to fetch me ! Saying... U just cross over the road and take the bus there. ..*speechless*. Now is lao niang felt tired and want to take easier way to reach there cannot ae ? -_-"'

The second thing is that, after reached the bus station , i felt myself lost coz the place or i should said the area doesn't look like how i thought it suppose to be, coz it was like a commercial area with shoplots. I thought i should see a big factory or a landmark like that....So i asked a girl at the road side.

A bit :( that im not having my eagering- to- try roasted duck at the famous 全聚德 or 大董 restaurant..coz he said is very far........................wuwuwuw

Guys, meet my friend, Erik .Long time no see friend ! Think we have been chatting for the whole dinner time..He told me his stories about him and his newly gf. How they met and get together..lovely :) He does have few Malaysian friends and i think we have misleading his english , he started to use "don't want lah~ ~" (@,@)

And he is demonstrating how to eat the 北京烤鸭 ..hehe

The duck skin is crispy , a little bit oily and really taste good...yummy..

The soup is cooked with the duck bone...Delicious~~~

The 服务员 said the roasted duck need to wait for around 40 minutes like that... I said is fine to me..( I'd came this far , i don't mind to wait..., plus nice food have to wait right? )

Long long time ago , the Emperors of Ming and Qing dynasties came to Temple of Heaven for annual ceremonies of prayer to heaven for good harvest and......................and ..........erm...............

( i don't know how to continue the history......... LOL :p)

Haha..Is ok, i don't know about the past, but i do know about the present, is that the old bejingers (老北京) do like to visit there every wee hour in the morning to play TaiChi, chess, Er Hu, dancing , kungfu...anything u can name it that old folks can do....Is amazing and is a healthy park indeed.

Something i hate about walking this path is that, there got many people will approach you to ask if u are interested to go to Badaling Great Wall...or..there are people taking those fake watches and sunglasses to sell.. Especially targetting those Mat Salleh.

So im being politely to say "No" or just shake my head.

Don't show a friendly smile or wat, they will just keep bothering u as far as u walk

Working late , everyone is leaving , left me in the building with the cold air cond. I started to re-call those ghostly stories about customer office.. LoL. Then i *wack* myself, what the hell i'm thinking.... Hungry dy...Eat! then back to work! and keep listen to my ipod shuffle

Not much choice out there, so called for Pizza Delivery....That's how my night goes that bitter.

The next morning, having breakfast at hotel , i like their porridge and everytime i'll check if their porridge is cooking well or not ( talk like a pro :p, nahh...i'm actually a cooking noob , lol). I'll always choose this erm..... i dono what fish is that but it match nicely with the plain porridge. Yummy........and if im not rush in that morning, i'll normally swallow in 2 bowls...lol.

My day goes salty coz i need to go back to the office and start my day again..........

The Sweet, satay doesn't taste sweet..the only thing in that photo taste sweet, will be Teh Tarik..

Im referring my last night at Kuantan goes sweet...coz work is done, i can go back to KL ! I must take my favourite Satay Zul as my dinner!! And this time, i ask for another bowl of satay sauce... i just finished them like drinking soup...lol. Like a hungry ghost :p

Oo..Teh Tarik at Kuantan is nice eh..with lots of bubble...haha. Think they tarik veyr kao.

Cheerful Day Trip at Kuala Selangor

This day trip was organized by my fren , Terng Fei that he sent us the invitation at FB :) So i got to know that these guys were trying to fill up their boredom on Wesak holiday , which was the third day after i touched down at KL from my BJ trip... I knew i was tremendously tired , and without any second thought, i just replied Yes, I'm in !

I need to fill up my boredom too....................lol

The day trip was actually planned to start from Batu Arang , Bukit Malawati , Sekinchan (paddy field and fish village, Pantai Redang) then last to the Pulau Kelip-Kelip at Kuala Selangor. Sound like a packed trip but erm..

Oh Well...things always doesn't goes as plan...like raining ,excuses and ideas..

But still we managed to visit 4 or 5 places...such as

Bukit Malawati ;)
